Bariatric Foodie "Click or Treat" Giveaway!

Eat this, NOT ^^^ that!

Man, I wish I had some cute post-op Halloween costumes to share with you. Sadly, I do not. This is mostly because up until this past year it was enough of a struggle to get my kids costumes (Halloween = 8 days after my youngest daughter’s birthday) so I didn’t bother.

Then there was the cursed Halloween. Oh I have to tell you this story. Indulge me a moment!

Picture it. Halloween. 2009. Nik is at her lowest weight in her adulthood and fits into a (wait for it, wait for it…) size 6! (I only stayed in a 6 for a hot minute but it was a glorious minute!) and I had a vision: I…was going to be Beyonce from the “Single Ladies” video, much to my children’s chagrin. I gathered all the elements for my costume. I altered a leotard to make it match Bey’s. I bought blonde wig. I decorated the one glove she wore and even bought the highest high heels I could find. I was gonna do it!

I don't see what the big deal was. I TOTALLY could have pulled this off!

Then I came down with the flu. Now the children swear this was the universe saying it wasn’t meant to be. I dunno. I was pretty sad about it but at the same time too sick to concentrate on being sad!

Anyway all that’s neither here nor there. This Halloween I want to give out treats! And the good folks at Click want to do so as well. That’s why THREE of you will get a chance to win yourself a canister of Click by sharing your costume with others!

Click has three offerings to choose from: Mocha, Mocha Decaf and Vanilla Latte.

Here are the SUPER EASY directions to enter:

1. If you don’t already, like Click’s Facebook page and/or follow them on Twitter.
2. Take a picture of you in a Halloween costume (and it does need to be a costume…no “dressing up as you.”).
3. Share your picture on Facebook or Twitter:

a.       If you are on Facebook, post it directly to Click’s page with the status message, “Click or Treat!”

b.      If you are on Twitter, tweet the picture and tag both @drinkclick and @bariatricfoodie with message “Click or Treat!”

NOTE: There’s no need to notify me that you did this because I will be tracking the entries on Twitter and Facebook but if you feel compelled to make sure I got your entry, you may leave a comment on this blog post. Please note blog posts are moderated (meaning I have to approve them) so your comment will not immediately show up.

BONUS ENTRY OPPORTUNITY: If you are already in possession of a canister of Click or any Click paraphernalia (a tumbler, a headband, a t-shirt, etc.), include it in your picture somehow for an extra entry per item used (that means if you have three Click items and you manage to get them all in the picture, you’ll get three extra entries! No limit on the number of extra entries you can earn this way).

You have until 11:59 PM EST, Sunday, November 3^rd, to submit your pictures. Winners will be announced no later than Wednesday, November 6^th!
